Here is the last of the series I plan to submit to the 6 x 6 Show at the Randy Higbee Gallery.
I did this from a photo I took last week when Saddleback had a beautiful dusting of snow. It looks like we'll get some more snow up there tonight too.

Antonio Park - Walking the Dogs
Here is a fourth painting of the same park, a few dozen yards to the West of the previous views. This is a favorite dog walking spot, with lots of things for the dogs to explore: little creatures in the bushes, every other dog's smell...etc. Anyway, I love this bit of wilderness at the end of our street. This path that meanders off the canvas to the left eventually leads to an unofficial entrance to O'Niell Park which is great too.

Antonio Park Storm Clouds
Here is another view from the park, earlier in the day on one of our recent stormy afternoons...do you sense a series beginning here?

Antonio Park Sunset II
Here is a slightly different view of the same spot but later in the day by about half an hour I guess. This is another 6 x 6 painting I plan to enter in the upcoming show at the Randy Higbee Gallery.

Antonio Park Sunset
Here is the first of a series I've been working on for the upcoming 6 x 6 show at the Randy Higbee Gallery. The show there in December was so successful, that he decided to add a second one for the spring. I decided to paint landscapes instead of still lifes this time. We'll see if I get in; the deadline is in March, so I still have some time. This painting is a view of Saddleback from the end of my street.

One Kiss
Here is the first of a few paintings I have planned for Valentine's Day.
Painting this proved to be quite a challenge, and I'm not sure I'm quite there yet, but I still like it.

View From Peter's Canyon Rd.
This is the third painting I've been working on for the "Paint the Parks" Show we will be having in May. This view was painted at the eastern most point in Irvine Regional Park looking west after the big storms we had a few weeks ago, and shows how full the usually dry creek still was more than a week after the storm.
